Today was not something that everyone wanted. But even though I'm not kirk, I think it's high time everyone started recognizing the urgency of the hour, the urgency of the situation. Do you know how irritating it is when I'm just sitting in the back and sitting down, and dozing off? When people can't play instruments they're making time tick away, not only for that practice but also the time left for SYF. You heard what Mr. Oura said. I don't think anyone would want to be in that standard right now.

What Kirk said during fall in was right, and what kirk did was also right. Mostly, what we can take away from it:

"there's a month left for SYF.

we don't want to be the ones breaking the tradition.

we should. we must. we can. we will.

That's exactly what goes into my head when I screw up doing practice, and that's what I think about on my way home. I actually feel my hands trembling when it comes to the last part of overture, the last snare drum solo after K. How many of you actually feel scared during scared during concert? If everyone practiced like they had no life, just for those 30 minutes, or those 4 hours on friday, we could be more then what we are right now in a matter or 3 practices. Wait, scratch that. One practice is enough for us to have a changed mindset, because right now only half the people in band have a serious attitude about SYF. Start making sacrifices if you're not making any. If you have something clashing with band, come for band. That's why there've been many instances when either me or kelvin call for batch meeting. We want to pump you guys up, make our first SYF worth remembering.

This is the only SYF where will be working as juniors, when the next SYF comes we'll be secondary 4s. Let's learn. Let's do this, we most definitely can.
